Forget Kodak, UrbanImmersive Is The Next Ethereum Miner To Pop

Eastman Kodak (KODK) has been on a tear, up 171%, since it announced that it will be doing an initial coin offering for an image rights management platform. The only thing that has printed easier money than KodakCoin recently has been the Canadian junior market, particularly in cannabis and blockchain. We believe that this will continue. There is a company that has recently announced a similar idea to Kodak that has less than a $10 million market cap trading in Canada.

In continuing our trend of reporting on Canadian stocks, we have picked some stocks that have turned into home runs in a matter of weeks or even days. That's why it makes sense to keep coming back:
  • In July we picked Isodiol International (LAGBF) (ISOL.CN) in our articles Isodiol: 10x Undervalued Cannabis Stock Inks Deals With Canopy and Isodiol: A Profitable Cannabis Company. ISOL has moved up nearly ten times since then, hitting a high of $2.14 in Canada from $0.23 when we called it before a pull back to $1.38 which is still a 500% gain.
  • In November we picked Global Cannabis Applications, or GCAC, (FUAPF) (APP.CN) in our article A Cannabis and Blockchain Story. GCAC has moved up more than seven times since then with the U.S. symbol hitting as high as $0.77 last week, compared to $0.09 in early November when we called it. It sits at $0.51 now for a 467% gain.

On January 7 in our article A Cannabis and Blockchain Story IV: The Rise Of Canadian Weed And Blockchain Stocks, we picked the following three stocks:

  • ThreeD Capital (BWSOF) (IDK.CN): IDK, which closed last Friday at $0.355, has already doubled to $0.72 in four trading days. 
  • St-Georges Eco-Mining (SXOOF) (SX.CN): SX, which closed last Friday at $1.06 has also already more than doubled to $2.15.
  • Fintech Select (Selectcore) (SLXXF) (FTEC.V): FTEC is actually down a little bit, from $0.365 last Friday to $0.34. But there is a good chance it will spike just like these other blockchain and cryptocurrency stocks have done. 

Our new pick in the cryptocurrency and blockchain world also has a very good chance to make big returns in a short period of time while this market is so hot. Urbanimmersive Inc. (UBMRF) (UI.V) more than doubled on January 9th after it announced that it will commence Ethereum cryptocurrency mining operations and starts blockchain integration within its platform. The stock went as high as $0.27 in Canada but has pulled back to $0.175 in the last two days after Ethereum pulled back from its all-time high. Ethereum is over $1,200 again so mining operations could be very profitable for this little Quebec operation, where electricity rates are one of the lowest in Canada. UI has:

"converted its former 3D imaging servers that were previously used for 3D image rendering processes (see press release dated May 23, 2017) to cryptocurrency mining operations and that it is working on integrating blockchain technology within its platform for image copyright registry and its credit-line solution"

UI has less than a $10 million market cap, 52.5 million shares outstanding, but already has converted its servers to Ethereum mining operations. So this is an active business. What's more, it is also working on integrating blockchain technology for image copyright registry, something very similar to what Kodak is doing, the driving force behind KODK adding over $200 million in market cap. UI released more news on January 11 about a deal with Real Services Photography which the company expects will have a significant impact on UI’s revenue. UI recently did a private placement for $1.25 million at $0.125 so the company is cashed up for this Ethereum mining business.

Based on how these Canadian blockchain stocks have been big winners, we think UI is another great opportunity for some quick cash. This news has definitely gone under the radar because cryptocurrency miners have added hundreds of millions of market cap and are often the hottest stocks of this hot sector.  Hive Blockchain is worth about a billion Canadian dollars. UI's business sounds just as viable, even if operations are at a smaller scale. So this market cap of less than 10 million sets up the perfect basis for expecting a very large run.
